Money Smart

Get Smart about Money

We are excited to present our new initiative, the 'Money Smart' program, a collaboration between THV11 and FAB&T. Our goal is to ignite excitement and provide financial education to the youth in our community. Through this program, we aim to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions that will positively impact their future.

Through this program, THV11's esteemed evening anchor, Faith Woodard, will personally introduce the 'Money Smart' program to the students at each participating school. Faith will engage with students and emphasize the importance of financial literacy, providing real-life examples to demonstrate its relevance and benefits.
The program will run for from September 2023 until April 2024.  There will be one Money Smart session available each month.  The session will take place at the school between 11am and 2pm.

Local central Arkansas Junior High and High Schools may participate.
FAB&T has developed a comprehensive financial literacy curriculum designed specifically for teens and young adults. Our expert banking team members will guide students through the curriculum ensuring a structured and engaging learning experience. The curriculum covers essential topics including budgeting, saving, banking services and responsible borrowing.
